The Chiloquin Project is a 9.9 megawatt photovoltaic power generation facility on a single 118 acre parcel. The project covers approximately 73 acres of the parcel, with the balance of the acreage maintained as open space. The subject property is located at the terminus of Cattle Dr., in Chiloquin Or. and is all within tax lot 300 of township 34 S, Range 07 E, Section 22 Klamath County. This project was developed on lease land based on a 20-year contract to provide power to Pacific Corp. The project satisfies all provisions of article 44- conditional use permit – as outlined in the Klamath County Land Code and supports goal 13 of the Klamath County Comprehensive Plan by developing efficient renewable energy.
